It’s important to know that most middle eastern jewelry such as bangles, earrings, rings and necklaces are often much higher karat gold then jewelry sold in North America and Europe.
Normally the minimum Karat we see from this region is 18Kt and the highest is 22Kt, even though some pieces can be stamped 24K it is unlikely to be 24K pure because 24K gold, is pure gold and pure gold is much too soft to stand up to day to day wear. Most reputable buyers will only pay you based on a maximum karat of 22K for this reason.
